couples' sessions are always so much fun to capture behind my lens! I can always feel the love between my couples and their relationships. I have a few returning clients that I absolutely love being a part of their memories for a lifetime.
Emily & JD
these two are return clients of mine and have had both a summer, fall, and winter session!
for their summer session, we traveled to a small farm in Northern MD to take photos in their orchards and flower fields! the next fall, we chose a location in Baltimore County, MD that we know would be absolutely stunning with fall colors! Emily and JD used to be shy behind the camera, but have become naturals! this year's session was shot around Valentine's Day! with it only being February, we changed up their scenery to get a different vibe! I love how the photos turned out!
Emily has also gotten business headshots done by AKoller Photography for her job as an event planner and marketing specialist!
Garrett & Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn reached out to me to schedule a maternity session, meanwhile, Garrett (her now husband) messaged me separately, informing me that he had asked for her dad's hand in marriage, and that he was hoping to propose during the maternity session as a surprise! of course I said "yes!!", and we discussed all of the details. about halfway through the session we changed locations, and I gave Garrett the proposal prompt; Kaitlyn was in complete shock! this was such a special moment for their family-to-be!
since this session, Garret & Kaitlin have returned for more photos, including family portraits during my fall mini-sessions, & I got to meet their sweet baby girl, Camdyn! they are expecting another child soon and I was able to capture a pregnancy announcement photo shoot!
Bobby & Emma
this was Bobby & Emma's first professional photoshoot, and they killed it! we stayed close to home and found the perfect place for photos at a nearby lake. this allowed us to have a variety of backgrounds; including the lake, trees, and the sky. on this day, it was chilly and super cloudy but we decided to stick it out and were delighted by the most vivid fall sunset we've ever seen!
I'm super excited to work with them in the future and cannot wait to see where life takes them!
Sarah & Trevor
Sarah and I have been friends for a few years, and she recently bought a house with her boyfriend (now husband!), Trevor. she reached out to me to schedule a couples' session for photos for the new house, however, Trevor had other plans! Trevor messaged me separately and wanted to propose to Sarah during the photoshoot. keeping this secret from Sarah was so tough, given that I worked with her at my full-time job, however, I did it! as we were changing locations, Trevor snuck the ring to me to hide it from Sarah, and when the time was right, I handed it to Trevor behind Sarah's back...and the rest is history!
they've recently introduced their first baby boy into the world and I'm patiently (more so impatiently) waiting for them to schedule family portraits sometime soon!
Katelyn & Ben
Kate and Ben went to high school together and have known each other for most of their lives. they've been together for a few years now and recently purchased property to start their forever on! Kate and Ben's photos are so simple, but yet beautiful! the blue jeans and boots combo is a small glimpse into their lives. this photoshoot was so much fun and you can tell by their photos! I cannot wait to capture their love again!
Derek & Janelle
Derek and Janelle got engaged in 2022, and got married in July of 2023! their actual engagement was at the beach, but they wanted to capture some professional photos as well! we picked a location that they both grew up going to in Northern MD. I love the baby blue colors in their outfits and the detail on Janelle's ring! this location allowed a variety of light, backgrounds, and beauty!
Julie & Michael
Julie & Michael got engaged in July of 2023, and could not wait to capture their special moment! Julie's best friend, Leah, (a client of mine) reached out as a "heads-up" that she would be gifting their session to them, and to make sure I did not let them pay. this couple was so much fun to take photos of, even having a few poses they wanted to try out! Julie & Michael are both in the military and met at college a few years back! they were all smiles at their session!
they just got married in December of 2023 in Connecticut! congratulations!
Manny & Leslie
Manny & Leslie recently got engaged in 2023 and wanted to have photos taken to utilize on their wedding website, invites, and save-the-dates. They braved the cold in late December but we found a location with rustic buildings and architecture to make up for the barren trees and lack of color that the winter sometimes brings.
this couple will be heading to the country of Columbia later this year to get married! check out the last photo to see their hats that they incorporated into their session!
Sarah & Jake
Sarah and Jake got engaged this spring and just got married in September! I have known Sarah and Jake since we were kids and I still can't believe they're married! They are so sweet and full of love and laughter!
their wedding day was absolutely perfect. it started out rainy, but it cleared up a few minutes before their ceremony begun and it was such a beautiful afternoon! they picked the perfect venue and an amazing florist, DJ, and caterer. I feel so blessed to be a part of their special day! Fun fact: Sarah and Jake were one of my first couples I took photos of when I first started by business..and fast forwarding to now makes me feel so grateful!
Julia & Nick
these two recently got engaged and are planning a wedding for this fall! Julia and Nick were a little shy but by the end of the session you would've never known! the location they picked for their photos was absolutely gorgeous and we had so many different scenes to pick from! there were wildflower fields, vineyards, a pond, and various trees/flower gardens! I am looking forward to photographing their wedding this October in Gettysburg, PA!
